Dear Animals Parents, I am reaching out regarding Alvin, whom I adopted from the ACC in New York when he was 10 months old. Currently, at 6 years of age, Alvin has brought immense joy into my life. However, as he ages, the financial burden of covering his medical expenses has become increasingly challenging. Alvin endured a torn Achilles which, though healed, has resulted in lingering nerve damage. Despite this, his spirit remains undaunted, exuding boundless love and affection. It pains me to consider the possibility of having to make a decision as drastic as euthanasia due to financial constraints. Alvin deserves a chance to thrive in a loving environment that can provide the care he requires. I am seeking a new home for Alvin, one filled with vitality and individuals who relish outdoor activities such as running and leisurely walks. Alvin is a companion who thrives on human interaction and will undoubtedly enrich the lives of those who welcome him into their home.
