At ten, this handsome dog is on the lookout for a retirement retreat where he can bask in the golden years with a loving family. Despite being blind Tony has mastered the art of navigating with his other senses. Blind dogs can lead wonderful, happy and healthy lives as long as their human caregivers recognize their pet's limitations and take steps to ensure the animal's safety and comfort and quality of life. We have been practicing the use of a clicker when walking Tony. It works great. His really enjoys his walks, tail wags the whole time, and he is in need of getting some pesky extra pounds off so keeping up regular walks and offering his a healthy diet will serve Tony well.
