Nyota is an adorable female spitz mix, 11-12 weeks old. She will likely be around 30 lbs. when full grown. Her mother appears to be an American Eskimo Dog and weighs about 30 lbs., but we don't know who her father is! She has been in foster care with the rest of her litter and mom while they've been recovering from terrible neglect. She is doing much better now and is ready for her own home and loving people! Nyota is playful and eager for attention and love! She is the only one of her litter of five that has a black coat, and she's the smallest. It's possible her dad was a small breed. She is not fully housetrained, but she has been using papers in her kennel at night. She has all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been microchipped. Kittens and cats are $80. The adoption fee includes vet exam, first set of vaccines, microchipping, Feline Leukemia test for cats, Heartworm test for dogs. Also, includes rabies vaccine and spay/neuter at appropriate age. A completed and approved adoption application is required before meetings are arranged. The foster home is responsible for approving adoptions.Shelter locationAdoption fairs are held monthly at PetSmart, Wilkesboro, NC. Prospective adopters with approved applications will be contacted by the foster homes to arrange meetings.
