Arrow is available for adoption, he is being fostered in Miami, FL (Dade County). Arrow is approximately 4 years old, 40 lbs and is a smooth coat Border Collie. He is a total love bug. He likes to be with his pack. Walks are great adventures for him and he loves car rides! He's smart and curious but somewhat timid and shy around some strangers and certain situations. He does however have interest in learning new things. With time and patience he will continue to grow. He likes to play some ball and is learning to catch. Arrow knows sit and down commands and shows great promise to continue to learn more. Arrow would be best in a home with another dog companion because he loves to play with his canine buddies. He'll needa homewhere he will have lots of attention and a fenced yard. He gets very anxious when crated for an extended period of time or when left alone. He is average energy for the breed. He is always happy when he is with his people and loves to snuggle and give kisses. He is a very gentle soul and is happy to be a large lap dog.He's got theclassic black and white markings and gorgeous big blue eyes. Arrow is house-trained, up to date on vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative. We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogs from municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility.
